Impact centre preparation process
The impact centre network is coordinated by the Wellbeing Services County of Pirkanmaa. Other members of the working group are the Wellbeing Services Counties of North Savo, North Ostrobothnia and Southwest Finland, which have university hospitals, and Helsinki University Hospital HUS.
The preparation of the national impact centre is based on an impact study called Vaikuttavuuden vuosikymmentä rakentamassa (eropo.uef.fi) (‘Building a decade of impact’, in Finnish). The study was carried out in spring 2021 in cooperation by the Helsinki University Faculty of Medicine and the University of Eastern Finland House of Effectiveness.
The preparation of the impact centre will take place with EUR 2 million of RRP funding under Next Generation EU between 2023 and 2025. The aim is for the impact centre to subsequently become a permanent network.
